Why we link out instead of hosting the file
SkriptPlugin.com does not host, mirror or modify Skript. Downloading from the project means you always get the genuine file and its changelog. We do not publish checksums or scan results of our own.
How to find the right file
- Open the latest release. GitHub redirects that link to the newest stable version.
- Read the "Supports" line near the top to confirm your Paper version is covered.
- Scroll to Assets and download the file named like
Skript-2.16.2.jar. - Ignore the "Source code" archives unless you plan to build Skript yourself.
Skript also publishes to Paper's Hangar plugin directory, which links to the same releases.
Older versions
If your server runs an older Minecraft version, scroll down the releases page and pick the newest Skript release whose notes list your version. Skript supports roughly the last 18 months of Minecraft releases, so very old servers need older Skript builds. Older releases do not receive fixes, so updating Paper is usually the better long-term choice.
